Hope it wasn't any of you knuckleheads that hit my stepnephew on his bike yesterday on or around campus.

('Course, not sure if he may have been in the wrong...he's a pretty smart/nice kid though)

Wasn't me...

Foot, bike & car traffic on campus can be pretty crazy...especially now that it's dark when everyone is trying to go home for the day...

Other close but no cigar:

1984 12-10 - Night game with a bunch of college buddies. Very drunk and disappointed.
1989 43-40 - Boxster running around dragging friends into bars in San Francisco trying to find one with the game.
1990 33-31
1998 17-14
I remember this game quite well. I was in my early high school years and this was one of the first night games at ISU. We had a linebacker named Jeff Braswell that seemed to make about 40 tackles that night. He got in some kind of trouble and was never heard from again.

Jamelle Holieway as a Freshman and Sophomore was the best option quarterback that I have ever seen. Yes, he is notorious for sitting on the sidelines during the second half of a game in Ames wearing a full length fur coat and eating a hot dog. Still, he was the best one.

The 84 game was so disappointing we had them until missed tackles in the backfield gave them the game, at least that's how I remember it. We were all cheering and then no no no **** no son of a ***** followed by finishing of our wine bodas (spelling) filled with whiskey .

That's how I remember it too but no bodas (sp?) for me at the time. Oklahoma ran an option on 4th down at the goal line and we had it stopped until the CB collapsed on the QB and left the running back all by himself.

Yes. I could have easily googled it but decided that if N-Dubs wasn't sure of the spelling, I could also not be sure of the spelling.

Also, do people still use those things when they go skiing?

Skiing, kayaking, hiking, at games...I've been using them off & on since high school.

We have two large leather botas...they're VERY functional.

I'm not sure anything tasted better than drinking Glug from one of those things after wiping out on a ski hill that was way too difficult for my low skill level. I wonder where mine disappeared to about 20 years ago.

Oh, cool after getting a fed letter earlier this year saying my personal data was compromised as part of the big security breach I am told to now await another letter letting me know whether my fingerprints were also compromised by the cyber intrusion involving background investigation records.

Not sure what cyber criminals or foreign governments would do with my fingerprints. Hell, they couldn’t even get a digital read off of them last year when I had to get a new security card and I had to have two army security dudes digitally sign that it was really me. Apparently I have old worn out fingers that will not scan. Good lord, I have outlived my fingerprints!

Cheer up Boxster. Our neighbor growing up was nicknamed Nubs. He lost the tips of every one of his fingers during multiple farming accidents. Yes, you read that correct. He did not lose them all during one tragic event, he spread them out. Anyway, I'm pretty sure he was not able to give anything more than a partial print after he turned 50.

Did you file them off to cover up for past crimes?
