Ah I can't stand it when people get suckered into thinking facebook is going to steal your pictures. I saw one of my friends post this a couple days ago.

Sister posted this earlier on FB

It's official for REAL now!!!
Facebook will begin stealing your undergarments at midnight tonight if you don't copy & paste this message in the next hour, forward it to everyone in your mailing list, print a hard copy for your grandmother & call your third grade teacher. This is real. I got the message first hand from Elvis who was having lunch with Bigfoot, while riding the Loch Ness monster. It was even on the inside back cover of every tabloid in the grocery store checkout line. Not only will Facebook start charging you tomorrow, they are also going to bill your credit card for the past 3 years of services. Luckily, each person who copies & pastes this status will receive a FREE unicorn in the mail tomorrow. However, if you don't repost this status, Facebook code has been set up to automatically set your computer on fire & harm an innocent bunny in the forest! It's all true, it was on the news! It's official! Facebook users will believe anything their friends copy & paste into their status.

And yes, I accidentally deleted this earlier trying to add quote tags

I mean, it kind of defeats the purpose of me not having facebook to avoid all the morons on facebook if you all bring the morons of facebook here.

DH did some more seeding and spreading of the seed washed away in the last heavy rain. This based on a forecast of dryness. We apparently had record-setting rain this morning. Now they're saying it's going to be dry again. I think we'll hold of on spreading the bag of seed we have. And refilling in the ditches with the dirt he got.

WTF!!

hahahaha, last night they said (after it being forecasted as dry), they said up to 8 tenths of rain last night. We got TWO INCHES! New record for this day. Hahahahahahahaha.

So I realize that the shutdown is unlikely but I have still yet to receive any guidance on my time card for the current pay period. I called my boss today and asked if I should be submitting it early, they will pay us for work from last Sunday until Wednesday 2359.

He responded with a, "yeah that is probably a good idea, not sure what I can do with it though."

I remember when the shutdowns actually scared people, now its like free vacation for non essentials.

You're losing it, girl!

I woke up at about 3-4am to it pouring and thought it looked like the back of the neighbor's yard was flooded again and I'm like from a little bit of rain!? It was reaaaaaaaally flooded then when I got up. Now I know why. Two more inches on already saturated ground. I probably shouldn't tell DH that when we first did the yard, we were in a minor drought and were something like 3-4 inches short on rain. That was mid-July. As of today, we are 3 inches over average. It's only rained about 4 days since then (like, actual rain not just itty bitty showers). DH going to be the one to lose it before long.

Just be grateful we don't live further north. Frost advisory.
