I have written a little bit about us fostering in the past. We had Hallie adopted this last Saturday and we are expecting a new foster this weekend.

The family is giving up 2 9-month old female golden retrievers. We figured that they realized 2 young goldens was too much to handle. Whatever, it's better for the dogs.

We got the name of the family surrendering them and after a little facebook creeping, we came across their breeding website. They got these 2 puppies and fully intended to have them popping out $2500 puppies.

The worst is they have all kinds of pictures and videos with both dogs playing with their kids. I hope they have a good reason for giving up the dogs.

I hate people like this

Are they related to wxman?

IMO, Notre Dame was a glaring omission from that list. That football stadium is curiously bare bones, but the rest of the campus is pretty breathtaking.

I really try to be impartial, but I really really love our campus. When I stand in the middle of the great lawn, every direction you turn gives you something different and awesome to look at. Whenever I take my family up there, I have to take the stroll from Beardshear to Curtiss.

Ditto, except my kryptonite was Barcardi 151.

Jim Beam my freshman year. Still revolted by the smell. Did not help that the next day friend-zone Linda saw the almost empty bottle and took a swig and actually gargled it to torment me. I almost threw up again.

Decades ago but still recall this as a most epic move by her. She had game.

Fighting dogs beware.

We did it a couple years ago just for the heck of it, but did it again this year on the day of the movie night at Hilton, but we go over and have lunch at Hickory park, then park at the union, walk thru the campanile, over to curtiss, then across to beardshire, then around the library and the engineering building there, thru UDA halls and back along the lake to the car. Boys get a kick out of running up the big staircases on the old buildings, and just having the freedom to run.

I have no clue what I want to eat. I don't have any food in the fridge since I started traveling either. I have some rice in my pantry and a ton of tea. That is about it.

It's weird to actually think about technological advancement. Like, in the 1600's here, as they sat in their huts, they would have never imagined a machine that would create cold air out of nothing to cool them off. Meanwhile I'm sitting here ******** because the air conditioner isn't cold enough to keep me from pitting out in the Hawaiian heat.
