And hit FTsHe played pretty good on Friday. He needs to get his shot going
Yes, been watching like a proud grandparent
I'm disappointed that they blew that lead...but I'm not super disappointed in the game; they're hanging in with the 12th ranked team...Yes, been watching like a proud grandparentHope he gets better with shooting, and I think he will.
Yeah I'm doing good today. Was a lot better after I woke up yesterday.@NWICY are you feeling better?
It's so hard to buy when they get older. My mother is 89 and wants nothing. I seem to get a new Yeti every 6 months or so for work so I gave her one of mine(not in place of a gift). Apparently, it's all the senior citizens could talk about for weeks. I've since given her 3 other sizes, she'll probably be on the most hated list shortly.Christmas shopping for almost 81 yr old Dad and almost 79 yr old Mom (with dementia). Dad might be the easy one this year: Skecher slip ons and a bottle or two of Arrow or Paramount Blackberry brandy.

I've gotten to the point where I buy my parents things like:It's so hard to buy when they get older. My mother is 89 and wants nothing. On Amazon they have a roomba knockoff that's pretty affordable and does a great job, can be programmed, finds home base, etc. We have two. They need to be emptied fairly often due to the multiple cats, but a friend has one that runs every day in five rooms with carpet, that she only has to clean out once a week or so (no pets in the home). They are Eufy brand.I've gotten to the point where I buy my parents things like:
air filter
car detail gift certificate
clothes that are decent that they normally wouldn't spend the money on like brands REI carry
was almost thinking about a roomba this year
You made your mom be labeled as the big spender among her crowd. Paying for a cup of coffee by the 80+ crowd is considered excessive, they know where the free coffee is.It's so hard to buy when they get older. My mother is 89 and wants nothing. My wife’s brother bought my MIL a roomba. She unplugged it after a bit because she was a little off balance and it was a tripping hazard in her eyes. They would buy my FIL all this technology stuff that basically became places for him to look up the weather.I've gotten to the point where I buy my parents things like:

We have wood floors & seven cats. The cat hair collects in the corners & under the furniture. I LOVE my knockoffs. We bought Rosie to get the cat hair upstairs, under our bed and in the office & bathroom. Lew liked her so much that he had me buy one for the downstairs. She's Fifi. He wants to put a little apron & cap on her...One thing I'll add with regards to roomba's is that if you have cheap landlord grade carpet they beat the crap out of it. My apartment in LA had landlord special carpet in it and my roomba was always full after 1 trip around a 1k SF apartment with no pets.
That said, I do love my roomba(s). They do a good job of getting 90% of the general dirt/messes.

I had a major advantage where I worked. Not many Hawkeye fans (or at least overt ones) working on the ISU campus in my 33 years there.New hire at work is a Hawkeye fan, and a delusional one at that. I cannot escape these people

Worst part is this guy effectively replaced an ex Cyclone wrestlerNeeded to have more input on the hiring process.
