Well kind of a melancholy sort of day. Ash tree removal from my folks yard, they were both arbor day trees from school. Ash borer got them so they had to come down. The bigger of the 2 survived being mowed off by my cousin the yr it was planted. Lots of firewood though.

Is the song Don't Worry, Be Happy offensive to those who struggle with anxiety and depression?

I had a work colleague outraged that someone in leadership wanted the employees to have a happy and healthy holiday season (colleague has a chronic medical condition).
I would no unless you were specifically playing it at them (but I also don’t know the whole song).

As for the happy and healthy holiday season one, don’t see a problem with that if it’s to a group (plus, “I hope everyone, except you Janet, have a happy and healthy holiday season” sounds terrible). That being said I might choose different words if I was just talking to them (just like how I wouldn’t say “have a great weekend!” to someone if I know they will be going to a loved one’s funeral)

Some people need to take a chill pill in their life. Some work way to hard to take offense when none is intended. IMO.
I firmly believe that the word 'outrage' - and all of its forms - is the most overused word in the last 10 years or so. Everyone is outraged about something. With most of the things they are using it for I would think that ticked off, peeved, rankled or miffed would be more appropriate. Does this situation really instill rage in you?

Took a pic of my yard waste bin full of leaves as someone wanted to know how many I had. Yard waste bin is between my odd neighbor and our house. I looked over as the sun was shining into their bedroom and he was laying there fully clothed mouth open. I really thought he was dead!! Weird part he was laying there with his hat on. It just looked like I was viewing him in a casket. Kinda freaked me out in a morbid way.
You peeking in his bedroom?

But for reals...the above link is to a charity that teams up with Crown Royal. They use donated bags to ship snacks to service men and women overseas. Took me all of 90 seconds to do it.

Being that I spend my days rotting on the couch, I've been watching bad dinosaur movies on Tubi. Just watched one called Dinosaur Prison. Lol, it's beyond bad.

You drank a bottle of crown in 90 seconds? You’re too hard core for me lady.

I only know one of my grand parents middle names. Well, seeing that my one didn’t have one, that may make two.

Ironically, my grandma who didn’t have a middle name had a half sister with the same name. So I’m not sure how my great grandpa differentiated them. Probably just called my grandma what we all called her, mean beatch.

I've been doing genealogy for a few years (still a complete novice). It's amazing how many people go by their middle names. Or the parents had a child that died stillborn or lived a couple of days and they gave the same name to the next born child that lived (if they were the same sex). My grandfather is one of those. He had a brother born a couple years prior that lived just a few hours.

One thing I am so thankful for - I knew both sets of grandparents and two sets of great grandparents. My maternal grandparents lived until my sons were in college. My last great-grandparent died when my oldest was 8 months old.
