I really wish they'd wait until after Thanksgiving. :(

Are you getting out yet, or are you still confined to home & treatment center?
As far as I know, I'm not confined to home but I figure I should not go out much being that the radiation weakens the immune system. Pretty much grocery store and home for now.
This weekend is Trick or Trunk for people with disabilities, I would like to go as we set up a car but I probably shouldn't. Who knows how I'll feel next Saturday as the side effects kicked in Friday and they suck so far.

If it doesn't hurt (too much) to laugh, I'd stay tuned to CF. we'll see what we can do to keep you entertained.

Saw a tree service working coming into town after work today that I've never heard of, so I looked them up. They came all the way down from Baraboo, which is near the dells. 100 miles to come cut trees, holy ****.

I see the second half of the final season of Fear the Walking Dead restarted last Sunday. I guess I'll have to force myself to see it through to the end. I originally scheduled a leave of absence from work starting next week so I'll have plenty of time to sit in front of the tube.

Last night took one hell of a turn. We got an urgent call from one of my best friends wife asking for help watching their newborn. His father (whom my dad was/is also good friends with going back to grade school and they are both in a weekly lunch group together) Very recently found out that he has stage four pancreatic cancer and is declining quickly. Ended up going down to the hospital to sit with them for a bit.

First time setting trusses today. I was on the ground hooking them up. Only got yelled at by the crane operator once. They were some big trusses too. It all went well though. I know how to read truss plans now.
I have to have 148 trusses reinforced at a facility in the next couple weeks. Let’s just say that there probably went any vacation this year.

Something hard about construction is the fact that everyone else thinks you should know everything even when you're new.

Had a classmate die recently from some complications, had a cousin die last fall similarly and have had a lot of friends lose their parents over the past year.

It's all very surreal.
