A roast beef sandwich and a piece of cake was lunch today it all evens out.
Last I knew it was about 2 bucks a foot, not including line, that was the trenchers charge. I can’t remember what my electric lines that were tr niched two years ago cost me.
Helping to build an addition on a manufacturing facility at present. It is incredible how much each and every part of the project costs. $15,000 - $20,000 line items are almost a 'rounding error' and don't get me started on lead times.
Taking the week off of officiating to go to a previously committed comedian (John Crist). We did just find out that we have been assigned to the playoffs so we will see how far we go with that. Up to 23 games this year.
Watching Hogan Heroes, Father Mulcahy from MASH had a ten line guest part.

Glad to do all the Microsoft Authenticator stuff in order to have DMACC's system send me a text to log in, even though it already did that. Good use of time.
Attitudes are changing, but I think she just didn't inhale. Put down the doobie and pick up the HAMMER! (gavel)

Last night was the traditional DMACC time wasting of booting students who are behind.
Today is the next step of readmitting everyone who asks. In both cases, though, it's a nice waste of time that other schools don't bother with.

Had to use the restroom at Texas Roadhouse in Ames today after lunch. Ice tea goes through me like nothing. Walked in only to hear this guy on his cell phone in a stall. He was going on about the weekend and all of hte sudden said it getting hot in here. He seeemed to be struggling getting his pants down, when all of the sudden the room liked moved from his explosion of gas or other build up in his colon. Let out a big sigh and said how much better he felt. I litterally was crying from trying not bust out laughing as I hurried out and then started laughing. Wondering who got the better play by play, me or the person on the other end of the phone. Some people just don't know when to turn it off.
I, for one, am glad there are no pix of such humorous goings-on.
Husband out in the eastern part of the state for the final football game of the season. He texted me that the press box smells, and he's been told that there's a dead mouse in the walls.

Today's auction e-mail from the Gridiron club including these two items: Jack Trice Club passes for the UT game, and an RV parking pass for the UT game. The photo layout made me chuckle as it included this image, not once, but twice.
