Yikes, I'm never drinking at a chain restaurant again. $23 for 2 Jameson doubles. I can get the same thing at an Irish restaurant I like to go to for less than half that.

@BoxsterCy I'm confused visited gopherhole today, there is a fairly consistent group on there that doesn't like NIL and collectives, does MN not do them? Or are like some here that wish it wasn't that way but realize it is.

More the later and a lot of crankiness stemming from having a state rich in players and not landing them. Also some residual bitterness among a few posters about gals that leave Minnesota to play for elites like Page Bueckers did. A few posters that hang on to the notion that Gophers HAVE to get Top 10 recruits to be top of Big Ten. I disagree, subtract Clark, and some of Maryland's past recruits, and the top teams in the Big 10 are not made up of UConn type recruits.

Me on NIL, the NIL for Bueckers and Clark is real and based on their popularity. Lot's of the NIL is fake ******** and just play-for-pay so a lot of what they talk about won't impact top players. Bueckers makes ton-o-money at UConn. She would have made less but still a ton-o-money at Minnesota. Clark likely bugs them a lot since she, unlike Bueckers, "stayed home" and didn't select an elite school. Unless the "stay at home" school is an elite the choice Clark man is pretty unusual. The top teams get the top players.

Brutal day today. It was my 50th straight day at work (58th day in last 59) and today we finally had a busy Sunday on top on ISU wbb placing a food order which including coaches and other personnel was like 25 people.

A few people in the kitchen got cash tips but not me. If you want to do that fine but don't do it in front of others who aren't getting it.

ISU team orders get rough pretty fast. Hope they get you a day off soon.
And that last part: so obvious, but goodness, people in charge can't figure out obvious all too often.

Saw the "official" ISU bus heading south on 235 as I drove home. Was pondering who was going where when I saw the second Windstar coach. (Followed by two more buses) Duh. Football team on the way to the airport to fly to Cincy. Said out loud "Bye guys! Beat the Bearcats!"
Reminds me of their troubles getting back from OU a few weeks ago. Everything was just fine until they get back to DSM at 12:15AM when the pilot notifies them that they have to stay on the plane. Then he comes back on and notifies them that a certain former presidents plane was landing out their window. Between the security requirements and they apparently only had one stairs truck for both planes ISU did not get off their plane until 2AM.
