Yes. It's heading east after skimming the top of the north island. We're in Dun¹1111edin at the bottom of the south island. We go a little more south, then west to Hobart, Tasmania tomorrow.

Two weeks in Playa area and "than" a week in the traditional Cancun hotel zone.
It's my three week get out of shape program.
Always mentally do the exchange rate. My wife didn't do it at the resort we were at and just bought a bag of chex mix from the resort store to snack on while at the bar. Was around 220 pesos or so. Even my oldest gave her a strange look when she said how much it was. I told her to just divide by 20 to get a rough number. That was the best bag of chex mix ever.
I can't divide in my head, I have an artists brain without the artist talent, so I just take half of the number and slide the decimal over. Close enough for exchange here at the almost 19 or so peso's to the dollar.
Eggs were packed by the dozen but priced by the individual egg so the 5 pesos price on the cooler threw me off for a moment! Any wine that isn't low end crap is crazy spendy at the little market. Going to be a Dos Equis guy this month.

Took my kids and some of their teammates to the iowa wolves game yesterday and it turns out they were playing Deonte burtons team. He was dunking during warm-ups but didn't get one during the game, he was draining 3s though. The wolves were losing 82-50 at halftime so not much of a game.
Years ago when I was in Italy it was about 1500 Lira to the dollar. That made for some real interesting prices over there.
4500 for a gelati? About $3.00 lol

Call me an old coot but when I see this I just ask myself Why?
When Mrs. Velo and i were in Mexico eons ago a peso was about $0.10 so that made some easy calculations...just move the decimal point.
