Random Thoughts 17: Here we go again.

It's dark out. There are no street lights on my street. My porch light is off. So, of course, knock knock ring ring at the front door. Peep out window to make sure it isn't a neighbor. And, no, I don't know who the **** you are and I am not going to the door and opening it to talk with a stranger after dark. Hard no. I don't even answer the door for peeps I don't recognize in the daytime, let alone after dark.
Oh great, my internet life is...intersecting.
While living in Nebraska, I listened to a sports talk show that was more talk than sports. (I was okay with this) Show was on for about three years, things happened, one host went on to work at ESPNU. (Still does) ANYWAY! At the beginning of the pandemic, the two (former) hosts decided to start a weekly podcast, and now post lockdown, they're still doing it. Travis, the guy on the left in the video, I believe listened to the radio show while it was on the air. He started working drops and soundbites from the show/podcast into his weather forecast some time last year. An already too long of a story short, these three are the "official news team" of the podcast I listen to every Monday on my drive home from work.
TL;DR - Life is weird
I heard that publishers clearing house is awarding a prize in the twin cities tonight.
Snow totals have backed off to 4-8 instead of 8-12. That is a little better, now lets just back them off another 4.
On the road! Once we got to the bypass on 35, it was just rain. Here's hoping it stays that way all the way to KC.

Bought a bottle of Cody Road bourbon. Not the ISU coaches bottles (I’m not gambling on weird things like that). If I don’t like it I’m blaming @ChrisMWilliams
I don't think it was ever really on track but it definitely turned in a good direction, not like the majority of other threads.
