Random Thoughts 17: Here we go again.

I'm just a grump. My Christmas spirit begins with Advent and continues until Epiphany. :D

Now I want to have people listen to me talk about watching Bill Cain play in the old Armory.

BTW, Eric Heft is getting pretty old for a broadcast guy, only a class behind me. I saw him play on the freshman team in the old Armory back before the freshman were eligible for "varsity" and before Hilton opened. We usually went to the freshman game because two Dana House guys were on the team.

Is it just me, or does anyone else here the announcer say "Tamin - uh Lipsey" after Tamin does something really good? It drives me nuts because it seems like he's not enunciating clearly. There are only two syllables in the first and last names, and neither are particularly difficult to pronounce.

Trying to figure out what happened to the engine. The RPM drops and surges a few times before finally dying out. Fuel starvation? Overall he did fantastic if it truly was unplanned (the cynic in me is always questioning stuff on the internet.) THE AIRPLANE WILL STILL FLY. Pitch for best glide, locate a landing spot, attempt restart if possible. Aviate, navigate, communicate.

I’m the opposite, if it doesn’t fit in my pocket, I don’t want it. I see some guys who look like they have an iPad mini case attached to their belt. Always leaning to one side so it doesn’t hit their armpit.

this has been a gripe of mine, too

but ive been finding myself watching more and more things on my iphone and think the bigger screen would be nicer.
