Going full @stormchaser2014 here tonight. If they actually deliver it this will be my latest Amazon delivery. It is my textbook and I am tired of reading it on the computer so I actually want it.
When i was doing night school i learned really quick that physical books were so much easier on the eyes. It's the one thing i spent extra money on.

Sometimes meals don't turn out as well as you hope found some beef short ribs in the freezer tried put some rub on them slow cooked them in oven at 250 for 3 hrs , last half hour I opened them up and put a glaze of BBQ sauce on them let them finish cooking. They turned out just ok, sort of tough and lots of fat to trim away.

Any one with a good recipe for them please share.
Have to get the internal temperature up to 195 degrees. The connective tissue doesn’t fully break down until then. You probably needed another hour for them.

Honestly, buy a cheap electric masterbilt smoker with a meat probe. You can do some light smoking (not top notch but not bad either) that is pretty easy. About 150 bucks will get you one.

Ran into only two other peeps walking in the park this afternoon. Perfect. Cold enough to cut back on the riffraff but not too cold for me. Bum and hamstrings did get chilled the last 1/4 mile, odd, would have guessed cold feet or cold hands after four miles, but nope.

Whenever I had to work outside, my thighs were the first thing to get really cold, even with double layers. Very weird.

I know I'm going to get short jokes from this, but when I spent six weeks in SE Iowa mapping soils, it was fairly easy for me to lose my sense of direction in cornfields because the corn was 6-12 inches taller than me. If you can't see any landmarks, you get disoriented quickly. And when you're mapping, you generally need to maintain a specific direction (which isn't always along the rows).

We boil them first, then finish them on the grill w/bbq sauce on them.

Went to Trader Joe's yesterday. Found a lot of good GF stuff, but the best part was some real Roquefort cheese. Had some last night, it was awesome. Wish I could find some real Roquefort salad dressing somewhere.

And BTW, @ImJustKCClone is right, wild turkeys DO fly. When deer hunting, it's a little crazy to see them winging through the timber. They're so big they look like they'll smash into a tree at any moment.
I was riding my motorcycle down a road real near the Missouri river and about 30 wild turkeys came flying across the road, real low. I stopped in time to just them all go by, then waited a bit longer for any stragglers until moving on.

I don't think I've ever seen something like this.

Can you tell me what I'm looking at here?

Road conditions is a stretch, considering the shadows on east/west coasts. I thought maybe a temperature gradient, but without the key it's really impossible.
Pretty sure it's weather advisories. I saw a similar map on Saturday or Sunday that said Georgia was one of only like 5 states that didn't have some sort of winter weather advisory.

Yep. If you go to weather.gov it's their front page always. Shows you the warnings/watches/advisories across the entire US. If you're a weather junkie it's a quick way to see who/where is getting the interesting weather.

Like mentioned the pink is a winter weather warning and the darker light blue is wind chill warning
