They had to win one other section since the vote total was only 30% of the final score.

I don't think they technically had to "win" all the other sections, as long as they had the highest combined score.

I don't know. I was watching it pretty close last night. Most of the negative stuff was getting deleted pretty fast. I think maybe just a few people posting at a time when feelings were a bit hurt. The other couples voters thought they had it in the bag. There was about a 200 vote swing in the final 45 minutes. It was beautiful for Rahshon and Denay, and not so much for the other couple.

In a somewhat related story, the BCS just announced they will award the 2011 Football National Champion based on internet fan voting. In the soon to be updated USA Today Coaches poll, the new pre season #1 is now the Iowa State Cyclones!

Too bad for them. I would hope that this is worth a return trip to Hilton next year for Rahshon!
