Question on Eli King

Great to see some meaningful minutes from Eli today, even if he didn't do a whole lot, but he didn't screw up anything either.
He looked mostly competent aside from the foul right as he entered the game for the first time where he got pump faked out of his shoes and then landed on the Baylor guy. Encouraging to see though, and perhaps the book of Eli still has some chapters to be written still

He looked nervous.... but with more playing time that will go away. Still not sure what his future is at ISU? He seemed like a great get out of high school, so maybe it will just take time.... unless he chooses to go be a star at a different level?

His lone shot was really off but it did seem like the defender made him alter it a bit. I was really hoping it would go in. That would've been a real confidence booster for him.

Remembering the days where we relied on Jake Sullivan and Ricky Morgan to be primary ball handlers I will always welcome competency on the ball.
Yeah, Sullivan should have never been put in that position. He was the perfect undersized 2 sharpshooter. He should have never had to play the 1.
