Do you really believe that it's that ******* stupid for someone to think that Brewer may be better than Purdy? Keep drinking the KOOL AID buddy
If you look at statistics yes it's stupid. I also think it's stupid you think Hornibrook is better than Stanley
Not sure on this one. No other Iowa fan said Hornibrook was better than Stanley but him so I'm confused
They are within 3 points by your favorite measure - passer rating which is nominal. Brewer has thrown 1 more TD and has yet to turn the ball over this season. His team is also 5-0 and ranked. Not saying that it will end this way but as of right now the BIG 12 all conference voters may be more inclined to vote for Brewer. Lot of football yet to play tho.

The narrative really shifted from who he thinks is better to who is more likely to get All Conference votes 5 weeks into the season lol
Purdy is but slighty. You think that all conference voters don't look at the teams record or head to head at all? silly
We could also bring into the argument that Purdy is the top passer in the Big 12 as of right now and he's 3rd in rushing, behind two of the by-far best rushing quarterbacks in the country. Charlie Brewer had a near perfect game against us and Brock didn't play very well that day and still threw for 342 yards and 2 TD's. PFF ranked Brock Purdy over Charlie Brewer for a reason, and I don't expect any Hawkeye fan to give Purdy credit..

Good lord. He tries to throw Adjusted QBR in your face as the end all be all stat for comparing QB's then makes the HOT take that Brewer is better based off ONE game? Yet, when you use his suggested best stat for measuring QB's and is proven wrong, he goes to basing it off one game. HAHAHAHAHAHA
