Question about Hillside

Hi everyone,

I apologize if maybe this question is better suited for the Tix Exchange forum. I have 2 hillside tickets for the game on Saturday and being that its sold out I wasn't sure what to expect. Will I have a decent view of the game or is my vision going to be restricted to basically the corner? Also I'm not the tallest guy in the world (~5'10) so I'm apprehensive about how much I'll be able to see in general. I've been to Jack Trice several times for different games but I've never really given much attention to the hills and I don't think I've ever gone to a game that was a sell out so I've never seen a really crowded hillside.

Any insight/advice is appreciated. Thanks all!

I have sat on the hillside. I would highly recommend standing on the south end and face north. You will get to view the giant score board as well as see the plays on the south end. I actually have tickets in the south endzone now and your view would be about the same as mine. Standing on the hill stinks, but with all the kids running around you will have to. I recommend walking around during breaks as your ankles will get tired.

Seeing your name, I should probably just advise you to stroll in right before the game starts and tell you that you will be able to see fine. However, last UNI game I sat on the hill I was thoroughly annoyed by UNI fans coming in the middle of the first quarter and trying to walk through and push their way into better hillside positions.

You will be able to see fine if you get a spot early and anticipate standing on an angle the entire game, presuming people that come in late don't walk through in the middle of the action and shove you around. I am 5'9" and old and I can always see fine until people start walking right in front of me during the game.

In addition, hills will be crowded as students that didn't get student tickets in time bought hillside, they will all try and cram into the student section, and students with actual student section seats will resort to the hillside.

I suspect that most UNI fans with hillside tickets will be in the southwest corner because that is next to the visiting section. It is a sellout, so don't expect to be comfortable, especially with the heat.

Excellent! I will make sure that my SO and I head for the South Endzone. We're both young and former athletes turned coaches so the standing shouldn't be a big problem. Thank you all very

Yes, I think the heat is the one thing that no one is looking forward to with this game.

I would recommend getting there early if you're not having fun at a tailgate so you can get a better view
