Quite a few less than that can play guitar
Then way way way less can write full songs and bring them to life in a pleasurable way.

This is all true, but very few can sing like Freddie Mercury. What a voice.
 
Voted Aerosmith because I like more of their songs better. But… I do think Queen is overall a more “talented” and unique band. Now, if you want to talk Stones vs Zep… I like Zepplin better AND they had a heap more of talent, even though a good body of their work was a collage of others.
 
I'm not even sure I can vote; I don't LOVE either band but think they're very good.

Queen had a more unique sound but I also give Aerosmith the credit for continuing to stay current with the times; middle school me appreciated the Alicia Silverstone videos.

Radio gaga? That is one horrendous song.

Always been an aerosmith fan and when I got put on Steven Tyler duty for their concert, it was fantastic. ST was also VERY nice and courteous. Getting to walk back from the stage with them was fun, nothing like have a bunch of college girls flash you, I'm sure it was for me and not them. I don't think Freddie would have gotten the kind of flashing that I would have enjoyed.

By that same token, they should lose points for that terrible overplayed “I don’t want to miss a Thing” trash song. One of the worst pieces of music ever made.

If lambert was the singer; I’m sorry but you have not seen Queen.
 
I was too young to experience either in their primes, but prefer Queen by a large margin. I hate Aerosmith’s 9lives album with the fire of a thousand suns. ‘Love in a elevator’ is also really, really terrible. I do like ‘Sweet Emotions’.

I like The Who, but Led Zep, and Pink FLoyd blow them away. Steely Dan is next in line for me.
 
I am a big Queen fan. Have been since 1975!
Am also an Aerosmith fan. Not sure when, exactly.

Seen both in concert several times and can tell you for certain Queen was hands down...

True Story: For the longest time I couldn't figure out why I didn't remember watching Live Aid. Then, one day I was watching this clip and realized that I missed it because my dumb ass was in Army Basic Training!

Queen! Queen! Queen!
