Property Access for Tree Removal

How about inviting us CFers over for a tailgating party in your driveway? Complete with BBQ grills, coolers, vans, sat dishes, TV's, bean bag games, kids, dogs, shade canopies, etc.

I am the neighborhood “Smoke Show” with my GMG smoker.

The cops won't do anything about it. It's a private matter. I wouldn't do anything unless they prove they are insured and you've been named. Even then, I'm not sure I would grant them access if they have a way through your neighbor's property. Sounds like your neighbor is just trying to intimidate you.
I know the cops won’t do anything, unfortunately the internet doesn’t display sarcasm well. But yeah, I should have said, “what’s he going to do call the cops? The cops won’t/can’t make you move your car from your own driveway.”

Yeah I wasn't calling you out. Just making a point that everyone thinks cops, government and lawyers can do anything.

Normally would say the neighborly thing to do is work it out with your neighbor and if they really need access through your property to give it under certain conditions. From what is being described here I probably would park some things in their way and stay home to confront the tree company if they tried to use your property without permission and garuntees they will pay for any damages they would cause. Will be your neighbors problem not yours if they can't use your property to access the tree. Sounds like this guy's wife wants to wear the pants and told her husband she doesn't want to them to possibly damage their property so have them go through the neighbor's instead.
