The next time would be the first. How often do 5 P5 schools go undefeated the same year?
How are we overrated at 7 but Cinci isn't at 8? We finished 9th in AP last year and return almost everybody from last year, and 7th is overrated? I mean, I know why, but JFC there are just a lot of idiots out there with too many useless jobs to do.
Pump the brakes my guy.
Outside of Kansas State what other team had issues? Texas and WVU had virtually none. There’s definitely going to be some epic meltdowns after the first loss of it isn’t to Oklahoma. I think some people look at the lopsided wins at the end of the year on teams dealing with COVID breakouts and think that’s how the whole season will look.

WVU definitely was dealing with COVID maybe not to the extent of Kstate though. I’m glad we won against Texas but to call their play calling questionable in the 4th would be generous.Outside of Kansas State what other team had issues? Texas and WVU had virtually none.
The disrespect they show OSU every year in the rankings is insane. How are they not in the Top 25.
Apparently being a top 40 passer last year when you are missing some of your best receivers for most of the year isn't good enough even when you can rely on one of the top backs in all of football.![]()

Highlighting the over and underrated teams on the 2021 AP Top 25. Oregon and Iowa State headline the overrated programs, while the AP Poll is vastly underrating Ole Miss and Nevada.www.pff.com
Iowa State listed as an overrated team. we'll see a lot of this i'm sure. mentions Purdy inconsistency as their reason for not fully believing. can't argue a ton with that.
but i love that we are starting top 10, cause we've seen that matters for getting into playoffs later or whatever bowl it is. unfortunately pre season rankings actually do matter. first time getting this kind of advantage for us.
add another chip on the shoulder.
...said every non-B1G homer for the last 103 years in a row at this time. Not quite understanding all the love for B1G teams in the top 20
WVU had already dealt with COVID prior to the ISU game. They hadn’t played in a few weeks because of it. I believe they were almost at full strength and I’m not sure they were missing any key guys.WVU definitely was dealing with COVID maybe not to the extent of Kstate though. And I’m not sure how to even argue your point about Texas lol. “They had bad play calling” is a lazy excuse. That game was all about execution. We executed when it mattered and Texas didn’t.
By that logic we were at full strength against the Ragin Cajuns.

Kolar isn't a key guy?
Well we were missing an All American TE and I’m also not sitting here saying that game was a fluke..By that logic we were at full strength against the Ragin Cajuns.
lol if you think missing Kolar was the biggest issue we had against them.whoops

Nah those guys got suspended and both played vs. us in the CCG.OU had a starting RB and i believe a DT that opted out for the season.
