Premier League

Degsy Lovren S*** show costs LFC the match- I hate this movie seen it over and over and over again.

Can't wait for Gomez to return. He was in good form before his injury.

Serious question though. Would you prefer Matip (also injured) over Lovren? I'm not convinced with either of them. Lovren is a better defender overall, but always seems to make a couple mistakes at the worst possible times. Matip doesn't make the costly mistakes, but his overall skill is below Lovren's.

cup team I would play at Wolves
Konschesky Kyrgiakos Coates Kelly-
Shelvey Poulson Spearing
Ngog Babel (the **** one) and Voronin
4-3-3

Carabo Cup Semi First Legs were today and holy **** Man City won 9-0 over Burton......

Goal Scorers were De Bruyne, Jesus X4, Zinchenko, Foden, Walker, and Mahrez

Spurs guy has been awfully quiet lately. Knocked out of the cup at the semis today. Dele out for over a month. Kane out longer than that. Things don’t look so promising for them now.

Hope he comes back to own their failings like he said he would.

Spurs being "sprusy" who knew- The injury crisis at spuds was totally empirically predictable based on their chronic loads after world cup and how many minutes they have played. There was an 80% chance of injury to their top players.... Kane Dele BellEnd and Erikson. Injuries that would keep them out 1-3 months. It is sports science fact. I wish I could incert the fatigue index podcast that predicted this but it is behind a paywall and cannot be copied and shared. Simon Brundish UK sport

It’s kind of disappointing. The Spurs were having a pretty good year before all these injuries. I this think they’ll finish top 5 in the EPL

I said nothing of the sort when I was run out of this thread on a rail! I was bummed when Spurs exited two cup events in four days but I got over it. I haven't been back to this thread because multiple people made it very clear they didn't care or want to hear about Spurs. Whatever - I was just honoring the wishes of those with high post counts...

Being a Tottenham supporter is much like being an ISU fan - you must have thick skin and be patient. Despite our recent injury issues, Spurs are still in Champions League and only five points out of the PL lead with thirteen games to play. #COYS

I couldn't be more pleased with the way Spurs have played over the past two weeks, culminating with today's beautiful second half versus Dortmund. Steve Nash couldn't stop smiling in studio...

Just don’t go crying to mama when it gets thrown back in your face at the end of the year when Spurs likely go another season with no trophies.

I don't mind Liverpool; if Spurs can't end their lengthy title drought this season, I'm pulling for them! Having said that, I don't need to take this garbage without response...

Most Recent Trophy:
Liverpool - 2006 FA Cup
Spurs - 2008 League Cup

In the most recently completed ten EPL seasons (2009-2018), Spurs have finished above Liverpool in the table eight of ten times.

Liverpool fans have great reason to be excited, with season-long place at the top of table and last season's CL Final appearance. You shouldn't and don't need to denigrate Spurs...

We did win the league cup in 2012 on pens vs Cardiff but it is the league cup so it really doesn't count for much.
