Premier League

Cyco, who's your team in the premier league, or are you just an anti-Arsenal fan? Because I like the premier league and would like to see Leicester win it, but I'm a bigger Bundesliga fan so I feel like I'm neutral here. I thought it was a weak call, but not nearly as bad as you think it is.

Sorry to crash the party, but I am a Tottenham fan and it was nice to see the Spurs be able to get results with the big boys consistently, even if the awarded penalty was on the slightly weaker side

If you went back in time and told a fan that in Mid-Feb 2016 the top 2 would be Leichester City and Tottenham and Chelsea would be in the bottom half of the table, would they believe you?

Lots of complaints about the officiating with no mention of the calls went against Arsenal:

1) Vardy's dive: I'm sorry, but being a "clever forward" does not change the fact that Vardy ran into Monreal and dove. There's a reason he's won more penalties this year than another other TEAM has. He's a cheat (and a racist).

2) Mahrez's dive: Not booked for simulation but should have been

3) Schmeichel time-wasting for 30 minutes without a yellow card.

4) Handball in the box that wasn't called. It'd have been somewhat harsh but those are called sometimes.

5) http://i.imgur.com/8rjAUOe.png - THIS challenge on Ramsey by Drinkwater. That's a red card all day. Incredibly dangerous.

But please, do carry on about how Atkinson (who is a terrible referee) was biased towards Arsenal.

I have an English friend and he is a Spurs fan so I cheer for them as well. I thought that the handball call was weak, but from an angle it does look like the ball goes off his upper arm and that he swung his arm at it, that is a stretch though. The refereeing is similar to Basketball where a lot of calls, to my untrained eye, could go either way. I played soccer growing up and we were definitely not allowed to be physical like they are in the Premier League. I also don't remember that it had to be intentionally played by your arm/hand to be a foul, but I didn't play at a high level.

The play that stuck out to me was Lamela's run. The Spurs are a fun team to watch, and the fact the team is so young is really cool.

How about Sturridge coming back!!! I know it likely won't have an effect on where Liverpool finishes in the table, but this team is just so much better when he plays. I know Villa is awful, but Liverpool has struggled against the bottom tier teams more than they have against the top teams. Unfortunately, its probably too late in the season for a top 4 run...

Liverpool was just killing them. You don't often change the channel due to a high scoring, out of reach soccer match.

That handball call was objectively bad. It hit him in the back/side first, he had his back turned to the ball, his arm was not in an unnatural position for someone jumping. There's just no way there can be a clear argument for a deliberate handball there.

Just over one hour before my production fades into nothingness. COYG!

From losing at home to Swansea to coming back from 2-1 with 10 men at White Hart Lane to get a point. The ****?
