Prediction: ISU @ TTU

sounds like typical ISU fans on here. I see no reason why we can't win at Tech. (OU always loses focus at least one game each year, just like OSU).

I think we will see a different offense this week and will have success in the run game. If we can run the ball we should win. Not worried about the D at all.
 
Tech will beat us, Didn't all of us cyclone fans call upsets over Texas, mizzou was a for sure win, and Texas A&M was homecoming so we were due for our annual upset of the year, welllllllll it didn't happen..I'm not getting my hopes up, hopefully we beat KU and regroup for next year.

Tech scored 41pts at OU. It takes ISU 2.5 games to score that many points, if it doesn't go into 3ot and our D is no where near OU's. 52-17 Tech. I'd love to be wrong, but just don't see it.
 
Tech is playing a ton of freshmen and sophomores, especially on defense. In some games thay kill and in others they look lost. In sum, I wouldn't bet on this game even with found money. That said, I'll go with...

I see two possibilities:
Texas Tech 51, ISU 21. (After ISU goes ahead 21-7)
ISU 41, Tech 35. (ISU intercepts five passes)

I see other possibilities, too, but those are the first two. :wink:

Tech scores a perfect game while ISU misses 2 PATs.

Hopefully I'm wrong, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Which would I rather see. ISU not playing from behind or the defense coming up with some picks.
 
I like to think that the 'signature win' wasn't Iowa. I think we have a shot, but our margin or error is razor thin. the joys of being a cyclone, I have no clue how the game will go, but I will say TTU - 38, ISU - 27.

Completely agree. I was pulling hard for tech last week because it sets up a perfect situation for us to steal one.. tech is a beatable team coming off their biggest win in years. They can try to keep them focused, but theres no way some of those players aren't partying this week, thinking they have 2 weeks before the next big game. I'm not always optimistic, I thought we would lose all the games that we have, but I think we win this one. Tech is not one of those teams that has us completely outmatched. We are close enough to get them in a huge letdown game.
 
This is a horrible matchup for for the Clones. Any offense that can light it up, including Tech, OU, OSU, and even A&M on the ground is likely to KILL us. Our defensive line is absolutely atrocious and gives us next to ZERO chance to stop opponents on a regular basis. They get destroyed up the middle and this is multiplied when teams spread us out to thin out our LBs (strength of the D).

Unless we get some turnovers, I struggle to see how we'll keep this team under fifty. Our offense has the potential to put up 30+ if they can stay out of their own way, but between penalties, TOs, and missed opportunities just when have they done that all season? TTU 52 ISU 27.
 
I give up on trying to predict scores, my tradition of picking ISU to lose is failing miserably this year. The only thing I can say for sure is that I will be behind my favorite team no matter what the score turns out to be. It would be nice to have a surprise.
