Self will time it strategically, as a momentum-buster, between natural game-breaks and TV timeouts ... and I think the first half won't involve enough major surges by Iowa State to initiate its use. But ISU will come out of halftime on a binge.
16:35 in first half, after Naz hits his 2nd 3. The ejection will come once Tsal is put in and Self complains that he is too tall and should be ineligible to play in the game.
I think he will get a technical 12:30 in the second half of the game. His guys refusing to pick up Niang on the double team in the post.
I also predict about 5:20 in the first half his hair glue will lose its tack from over perspiration. He will throw his wig across the floor like Bob Knight did the chair...

I'm going 7:44 left in the 1st half, after Traylor picks up his 3rd foul while being posterized by McKat (Alexander already has 2).
It begs the age old question of "Which came first, Scott Drew taking 3 timeouts or Bill Self getting a T?"
Don't forget last year's extra time out near the end of the game when Self was overhead saying to their bench that he was going to let the place empty out!

At the 11:53 mark (1st half) he will have done enough to DESERVE a T, but will not get one. Three straight "favorable" calls will go the Jayhawks way (letting them climb back within 5 points), causing CFH to go Postal. After T'ing up Fred, a chorus of boos from Hilton will reign down. That, combined with a royal scathing by the ESPN Color & PxP guys, will finally be enough to jolt the Refs to the realization that the "Sheriff" of the Big XII is now being replaced by a "Mayor." Things are evenly called, Self rants some more, finally earning the Technical he deserved earlier at the 6:18 mark in the first half. Hilton Magic spurs the team on to victory and, eventually, a Big XII Conference Title!
