Hey folks! Not sure if this should go here or just under MBB, but here goes.

You can enter a lottery drawing, today only from noon to midnight, on Sprintcenter.com for pre-sale of Big 12 Championship tickets in KC!

http://www.sprintcenter.com/events_tickets/2016presale

Simply click on the link and fill out the form at the bottom of the page. You will be entered in the drawing, and will receive an email on Friday to tell you if you "won" or not. If you do, you can purchase tickets on Feb 1, while those of us not lucky enough to win will have to wait until Feb 2.

From the release:
The presale registration period begins on Jan. 26 at Noon CT and ends at 11:59 p.m. CT. Successful registrants will be notified of the presale status by Friday, Jan. 29 via the email address submitted on the registration form. The online only presale will be Monday, Feb. 1 at SprintCenter.com (while supplies last) and a limited number of tickets will be available to the general public on Tuesday, Feb. 2 (while supplies last).
Each ticket includes all five sessions for the 2016 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship - guaranteeing the same seat location for the four-day event held from March 9-12. Fans may purchase up to four (4) all-session tickets for the 2016 Championship at face value directly from Sprint Center, the event’s only authorized ticketing outlet. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. CT online only at SprintCenter.com.

Good luck all! Let's fill KC again with Cardinal and Gold!

FYI, the FAQs say that multiple entries will cause you to be disqualified.

I remember when they did this several years ago, almost everyone got tickets. This year may be different though..

Everyone should register (even if you have tickets or don't plan on going) so if you get offered tickets, you can pass the link to another Fanatic who wants tickets at a later date. ISU had 4,000 extra people try for tickets but didn't have enough.

Please no.

So they give you a link without your name connected to it?

If my name is connected with the link, I don't think I would trust another CFer with my ID and credit card.

"Ticket delivery method is Will Call only for all 2016 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship tickets. Tickets may be picked up starting Monday, March 7 at 10 a.m. Purchasers must present the credit card used for transaction and valid photo identification."

I think this is part of the reason why they require you to put your name when you register for this lottery.

Anyone get a notification from the Sprint Center, of being in the presale?

I haven't received a notification yet, but my luck with lotteries is the reason I work for my living.

Nothing here yet either. My impression is that we will be notified either way...

Nothing here yet. 16 guys going for my bachelor party, would really suck if we all had to buy third party.

Outside in the P&L is a pretty good time if you can't get tickets. Last year we couldn't find any reasonable so we just partied with the other thousands of ISU fans who had the same idea.

It all depends on the schedule. For the Iowa State/Oklahoma game last year, I dumped 4 really good tickets to a scalper for $20 total, then went and sat in the seats because I knew he wouldn't be able to sell them. The only games that are outrageous are the Iowa State/KU game and the championship (if Iowa State is in it).
