Pre-Liberal Studies major?

An athlete of some sort, or a misguided soul who will spend $10k at ISU before realizing their career path is worthless.
Ehhh. I changed majors twice during my first 1.5 years at ISU.
The extra money I paid for those 1.5 years of college experience was absolutely worth going to a real college and getting that "college experience" as opposed to going to NIACC for that same period of time and saving a little cash. The friends I made and experience I gained is worth far more in the long run then the several thousand dollars I would have saved at a CC.
I took pre-Libertarian studies. I refused to pay taxes, filed off my fingerprints and griped about TSA.
It is for someone who just wants a taste at stupidity before they launching themselves fully into it.
It means either you were an athlete in college or you want to work at a C-Store the rest of your life.
There is a "pre" for other majors as well. My degree is in Computer Science, and I don't know if they still do it, but when I did it...I was "Pre-Computer Science" first. It was a major that a lot of people dropped out of (I think 2nd at ISU after Aerospace Engineering), and you basically had "pre" on your major until you got at least a C- in a small handful of core classes. It was kind of a way of distinguishing someone who didn't know **** from someone who kind of did.
I'm sure they're doing the same with that, but I"m not sure why they'd do that for Liberal Studies.... you don't have to be THAT smart to do anything with liberal studies.
