If he transfers to a DII school he could play right away without sacrificing his last year of eligibility.

I liked the Faust idea, but what in the world was he thinking in the first place transferring to Oregon St. He would be a good fallback option if Cooke doesn't commit, however, I've never heard him linked with us being interested. Maybe now?

My gut says Hallice Cooke is going out east or returning to Oregon State, depending on coach. Just a gut feeling. Still like our chances with Anderson. Haven't heard much about House, but he would be a solid get as well.

I disagree with those thinking Cooke is the bigger get. I think Anderson would be the much bigger get, even if it's only 1 year compared to 3. Talented big men are much much harder to find than guards.

Agree. Keep it open for the possibility of the Ukraine kid coming over. Otherwise, we will have 3 scholarships open for next season, instead of 2.

Anyone else see that Jamal Jones is leaving A&M? I wonder if he is a grad guy or has a rs year left. Looks like he played at Ole Miss as a freshman, then went to a juco for 2012-13. He is a 6'8" g/f that averaged 13.5 and 4 while shooting 37% on 3Ps.

Jones did shot 84/224 from 3 point range and is under 200 lbs at 6'8"... so he has perimeter skills.
His profile on Rivials lists him as Small Forward out of Junior College.

So it lookes like he has played 2 at JC and 2 at TA&M is he a 5th year transfer then?
