Potential Transfers '14

Ian Chiles highlights. Looks athletic and tough. Gets good elevation on his jumpers and nice arc. I think he'd be a solid get, only issue may be size since he's more of a combo guard at 6'1", but he seems to be able to play bigger than he actually is in the lane.

Here's some brief highlights of Sean Obi, about all I could find. This guy is a TANK! Appears to have soft hands around the basket which is good for a young guy his size. I'd definitely be fine with taking him as a guy we could develop. He'd be a sophomore eligible for Georges' and McKay's senior year which would take a lot of pressure off of Fred for finding multiple high school posts for the 2015 class. I think it's a good a idea to pick up a guy like this to sit out next year.

Anyone else see Kevin Ware from Louisville is transferring? Although he doesn't seem like he is athletic as he was as a freshman

If we have more than 2 to give, I could see it. Clearly getting someone now has value given our inability to close lately, but I think the staff is in on multiple juco posts to go with a high school guy in 2015. In fact, I would not be surprised if we signed only 1 high school true post for 2015, a juco post, and a forward like Nader.

I went to Hogue's Twitter, I didn't see any tweet from Mason to Hogue. Anyway, if Mason did do that, that is good news IMO. But have to ask, why would those two be interacting? That is kind of a big deal if you ask me. That means they possibly could be talking about playing together next year. Dustin doing some recruiting for us maybe? I know Mason has not announced he is transferring yet, but if not then why would we interact with a random player (Hogue) over a 1000 miles away

They're both from NY and the game was in NYC. Hopefully it's about him coming to ISU tho.
 
I'd take Obi, but I don't want Ware here. His stats sucked before in the injury and if it's true he re-injured the leg then I can't see them getting any better.
