Treadwell is a good player, but I'm not sure we would take both Lee and Treadwell? Maybe one of them, but not both. They are both forwards and I think Fred wants to bring in a guard next year too.
Low post game reminds me of Ejim's, as does his rebounding/tenacity. Good fall back if we miss on Lee.
Now, Now don't start looking down at others just because ISU is THE Blueblood of college transfers.
Good call. He was mentioned a while back, but kind of got lost in the shuffle. He would be a great pick up if we miss on Lee.
I like Treadwell more. Once McKay can play I think Treadwell fits better. I'm not sure if Lee and McKay could be in at the same time but this guy is a bigger Ejim who seems more versatile. Looks like a better athlete that Fred could develop more too.
There was discussion on this board about Treadwell during our game against Akron. It was mentioned he was scheduled to graduate when they were going through the starting lineups, and this board immediately started talking about him in an Iowa State uniform.
He played pretty well in the first half, until Fred discovered they had nobody else, and we proceeded to run him into the ground. That poor kid was gassed with about 15 minutes left.

Yeah, I also have no idea if he's a graduating 5th year player. The other thing about Treadwell, unlike Lee, his Akron team has had a decent season and he's already playing the position/style he's successful with. From that video, he seems quite happy to be at Akron.

Have we missed on a transfer yet that actually had some real smoke around them coming here? It seems like most of our transfer "misses" have just been fan speculation guys. Feel good about Lee.
If we do indeed get Lee or another post, I'm excited to see what our interior defense is like next year. I've heard Fred and Doc both mention a few times this year that they can't quite play the type of defense they want because they need to keep guys out of foul trouble. Will be interesting when we have 4-5 guys that can play down low instead of 2-3.
I remember a shooting guard from ASU (Tucker?) that ended up going to Marquette. I thought that kid took a visit here.
