Post-game thread - ISU vs. Colorado

Quick story for you:

I was in Vegas a while back, playing poker. I lost my shirt for something like 7 straight hands, and I was about to pack it in. Pretty soon, the high rollers left the table, and it was down to just me and this guy who was also having a terrible night. He was obviously not a real savvy player, and I took him for all he had...about a thousand bucks.

I met back up with my buddies, and told them the story, and they said, "Dude, you just won a thousand bucks off the worst poker player in Vegas...so what?" They were like, "Let me know when you beat someone that can actually play".

I took that thousand bucks and flushed it down the toilet. They were right...I got absolutely no enjoyment out of beating someone bad, despite the reward.

If this happens again, I'll take your money!:yes:

Truthfully, breaking a 6 game conference losing streak against anyone is cause for any fan to relax, sit back and enjoy.....but, really, its one freakin' game against another team with a one and seven conference mark. If the people that don't want negative nancies on here, than don't spout off by saying where are they now? At the end of the day, you are what your record says you are....and we are still 2-7. Here's to hoping we can keep this up.

Great game and great effort by our team tonight. They played some great ball tonight. Everyone came to play.

Gotta enjoy wins like these, no matter who they are against. I hope we can take some momentum into the next few games and get a few more wins.

On a more serious note, why did the buffs shoot so poorly. I couldnt watch so I am hoping it was good D. Of course they sucked from the line also and I dont think we were guarding them then
