Soooo Denver?
Yep. You just need to make sure your driveway faces the south.

Soooo Denver?
If it tracks south, IC becomes a target.Crap. I just do not want to deal with this. Hoping the storm track will shift enough either north or south to not drop more than 6 on us. I can handle that. If I'm not 8 years old (which I'm not anymore), I don't want to see over a foot of drifting snow. On a side note, Powerball (and MegaMillions for that matter) is STILL letting me down. I'd move in a second to a no-snow, no-humidity location if I could afford it.
It won't be 70 mph winds. This isn't some quick moving summertime thunderstorm.I think the part that worries me is if we get any wind past 25mph with 1-2 inches of snow is bad.
Not sure why they are coming up with 70mph as I can't remember when the last time we have had a 70mph blizzard. Maybe someone else knows. I actually like it except for the fact we have a huge game that night.
I would rather have 2-3 inches or a whole bunch. Easy to clean up or a complete dump. A bunch of these 6 inchers gets old imo.
Doesn't happen often......think we had one in 2010. Off the top of my head January 26th, 1996 and when I was knee high to an ant in January 1975 with the "blizzard of the century". Might be others but those two for me stick out. Even though I was very young in 75', I remember the mayhem that caused. Brutal! The one in 96' there was lighting and thunder that lasted for a couple of hours. Longer than most average summer storms.I think the part that worries me is if we get any wind past 25mph with 1-2 inches of snow is bad.

Sueee City tooooooSounds like people around Kaydar Rapids should get prepared.
Geez, that might grow to be bigger than the DC blizzard. Did you see the elongation of that beast? Get those weather center cats in here from Atlanta. Looks like Quebec is really in for it. Those poor Canadians thinking they can survive in the Ice Dome. With further apologies to the actual weather people...![]()
Man scheduled to be driving back from a Colorado ski trip on Wednesday. Don't like to see this.
