Poll: ISU regular season forecast

Went 7-5. I see 6-6 more likely than 8-4 but both possible.

Drinking the Kool-aid for 8 regular season wins. We return a lot and Campbell will have the team in position to win in every game.

7-5. Team is steadily improving, but we won't sneak up on anyone. Might be a couple teams out for revenge. If we beat TOE than I'd say 8-4 is a definite possibility.

I wouldn't be surprised with 6 or 7 wins. It will be hard to maintain the top 20 turnover margin we had last year but overall should be an improved roster.

I think if we beat Iowa, we split OU/TCU and finish 9-3. But lose against Iowa I think we may lose to both OU and TCU and finish 7-5.

Was last year a fluke? I don't think so because we never got beaten badly.

Is this team better than last year? I think so.

Is the Big 12 better than last year? I think not.

7-5 but leaning toward more 6-6ish but still a tough out for the best teams in the conference.

3rd year of a foundation being built tends to be barely bowl eligible for even some of the best coaches around.

I am hoping this team treats OU and/or TCU as the 1977 team treated Nebraska. If it does, nine wins seems quite possible.

But since the 1976 and 1977 teams both finished 8-3, then the 2018 Cyclones could still finish 7-5. I honestly hope that is the follr for wins.

Losses to OU, Texas, TCU, and OSU.

If 8-4 is the case, I'd trade at least two of those out but not sure who with aside from Iowa. Tech maybe? Anyone else is someone that ISU needs to beat this season.

9-3 or 10-2. The 3 tough ones are OU, TX, and TCU. Win just one of those and it's a double digit win season baby!!

8-4. The Iowa game is the swing game. Get that one and they're likely getting through the rough first half of the schedule 3-3 at worst. Lose and it's totally possible that they go into the TT game sitting at 2-5.

It's funny seeing K State not listed as a loss for most people. Should we beat them this year? I think so, but I wouldn't list them as a W until we actually beat them. Despite the current 10 game losing streak and the 10 game losing streak to them in the 90s we still own the series lead over them by 1 game. I thought that was interesting.
