The following schools have earned a spot on Playboy's 2010 Top 10 Party Schools list:

1. University of Texas at Austin
2. West Virginia University
3. University of Wisconsin-Madison
4. University of Miami
5. East Carolina University
6. Arizona State University
7. Rollins College
8. University of California-Santa Barbara
9. Plymouth State University
10. University of Iowa

These polls are so frickin stupid. All they do is rotate that same 25 schools that have 19 and over bars and tons of PI arrest. Then they throw in a couple odd ball schools to mix it up once in awhile.
I am sure Rollins College nestled in Orlando with Walt Disney is a huge Party school with 1500 students and no football. I bet there Saturdays are nuts.

I see your point, but having had the opportunity to venture into Rollins Country Club, I would give my stamp of approval for making the list. It is actually very removed from anything Disney, and a great school located in Winter Park, not Orlando.

I have partied in Madtown, IC, Austin, Rollins, ASU, and the U in Coral Gables. IMHO, the only reason Iowa makes the list is do to the fact female frosh and many female HS seniors can frequent the bars. Pretty sick if you think about it, and I am not a Hawk hater. But I do still think the drinking age should be 19 so what do I know anyway.....

I had a college co/op in IA City during college. It's a great partying town. The interaction between people is great. There are 50 year olds hanging out by the ped mall, little kids running thru those squirting water fountains, and tons of people going out to the bars. For not having a ton of more students than ISU, they sure get out at night time and party.

Most of the students who go to Rollins come from very wealthy families in the south and northeast, but didn't have the grades to get into an Ivy. The kids have loads of money, drink like fish, and have no problem getting any mind altering party favor they want. It has nothing to do with football Saturdays. They hit it pretty much every night. The place is ridiculous.

Madison, Wi is without a doubt the most overrated college party town I have been to. They get the whole party label from the halloween party on State St that basically doesnt exist anymore, compared to what it was. The bars are all 21 and are really spread out. Its actually more a of a laid back scene then what you would think of a party school.

As a student looking for a college, this ranking looks pretty good!! As a parent with a child going to college, this ranking looks like a place I'd want my kid to stay away from. So, depending on the view point, being ranked as a top 10 party school is cool, but not necessarily a good thing.

I think the promiscuity of Hawkeye chicks is the reason for the high ranking. Even the editor wanted to go to the field for this one when his reporters told him how easy it was to get a _______ _____ there just because you had a camera. I recall that Girls Gone Wild was so grossed out by their prep visit there they cancelled their planned stop.
