I hate pie crust. I just scrape the top off and leave the crust. No pie needs crust, especially French Silk. It's not even cooked! Can't they just put it in a circle shaped tinfoil with no crust?

Most French Silk Pie crusts don't taste good to me. I have had some really really good pastry crusts for fruit pies though.

I have enjoyed the graham cracker crusts or Oreo crusts for some of the other pudding/custard like pies too or cheesecake .

French Silk is not warm, nor does it have a fruity center. WHY MUST IT HAVE CRUST?

So they can cut it and has something to hold its form while it sets.

I bet you could find a recipe and just pour it into ramekins or an empty pie tin.

I don't mind the Oreo crusts as much, but it's still about 1/10th as good as whatever it is incrusting.

I don't eat a lot of pie which may be my problem. I like pumpkin and french silk and that's about 95% of my pie consumption. I don't ever eat the crust and it makes me angry when a single crunchy crum gets in my creamy goodness.

Me thinks you've only had store-bought crusts and if you had an awesome homemade crust you'd change your tune.
