Pete was the greatest. No offense to John, but it just isn't the same without Pete. The greatest thing about the guy was that you could tell how a game was going just by the tone in his voice.
John's doing well. He sounds natural. He's not Pete, and he knows it. No one is expecting him to be. Us Cyclone fans were just ridiculously spoiled for once.

Cyclone sports broadcasts will NEVER be as fun (no offense to Walters intended). Pete was one-of-a-kind. Loved his honesty and enthusiasm. Could his passing and the decline in sports at ISU be mere coincidence? Or just my perception?
