Pet Peeve

The only reason ISU doesn't look all cardinal or gold etc is because unlike the other schools isu doesn't put a free tshirt on everyone' seat.

Fans of other schools don't coordinate either. The school does it for them.

My pet peeve was the Koch ad that said, "We are Koch, we are Iowa State." Yea, how 'bout noooooo... IMO Koch ads are the same as political ads, and shouldn't be allowed.

Well then we should do that.

Stats and scores were displayed a majority of time. I was satisfied with it.

They were but I couldn't even read any of them unless I really squinted. So guess what, I'm not looking at the ribbon board very much and your ad dollars are being wasted and going down. For goodness sake the scores should use at Least 1/4 of the space.

No thread about someone not taking their hat/turban/yamaka during the national anthem yet???? That is always an entertaining pet peeve topic of years past. I especially love the "I'm patriotic, but I am free to leave my hat on and if you touch my hat I am going to kick your ***" anonymous-message-board-muscle guys in those.

My PP is the shotgun on first and goal from the 1/2 yard line. I wish CW or someone on the staff would ask our coaches why we run this formation so close as we seem to be conceding that we can't run the QB sneak.

Mine is the ribbon board is 80% ad's. They should use more of the space.

You may hate ads, but at least we aren't as low as Boise State,

White shirts, kids being squeezed into other people's seats, kids running up and down hillsides

White shirts - okay with
family of five trying to fit in two seats - not okay with
kids running hillsides - okay if not interfering with others watching the game

Guess I basically believe in showing respect to other fans

People in the parking lots that don't pick up after themselves. Use the trash bag they give you when you enter the lots don't save it to use at home

My biggest Pet Peeve from this weekend was the lack of support in crowd support from the SEZ Club on 3rd downs, about 5% of the people would stand up and yell. I have 2 seats in the SEZ Club and when UNI was 3rd and long in our side of the end zone, my buddy and I stood up to cheer and get loud. During the play, I was getting yelled at by the guy 2 rows behind me to sit down as no one else was standing. Well sir, guess what, I am going to stand on every 3rd down play and cheer as if me alone is going to cause a 4th down and if you don't like it, you best sell your tickets and watch the game at home if you are going to sit. And to everyone else in the club, we best have a better showing against the chickenhawks this Saturday...

We struggle fitting 2 adults and three kids into three seats. If we could actually use the fourth seat we paid for that the middle guys seem to take of ours, we would be fine.

I thought the stadium as a whole wasn't as loud as I've heard them in the past. I think tailgating all day in the heat took it's toll on a lot of people.

I don't mind standing during close games and big plays. I don't even care if people stand to watch the game for no reason at all.

What did irritate me a few times was during slow action, we had two couples in front of us that were standing so they could talk as a group. Never watched the game, just standing there yakking away and made a nice wall.
