What was the reason earlier in the year?Fred probably would like to but when your team is fighting to stay in the game, it's tough to risk not having your best out there and fall too far back. Obviously I'm not at practice but of the 3 I think Edozie is the least risky to have out there. Percy is slow and just makes too many mistakes and SDW is a liability on defense and doesn't really add anything on offense. I really liked Percy his freshman year and thought he had a good future, but as he's got older, it looks like the weight he's put on has slowed him down. Too many times he just seems to be a little behind the action.
Of course we do not trust them right now, and it is no surprise they struggle when they come in. Gibson and SDW have not played more than a handful of consecutive meaningful possessions in nearly two years. The regular guys have bad plays too after all. This is being overly-critical, but it helps development and depth to "give" guys meaningful minutes before they are needed.
