Making my 1st trip out to Park City and looking for recommendations on places to eat, drink or see/do?

Getting there this weekend. Lots of good places to eat, Sammys, Grappa, 501 Main, Chimayo, Butchers as a sample.

There’s No Name Saloon on main st. The Bridge Cafe is always fun to ski down to for lunch if you’re skiing Park City Mountian. If you’re skiing Deer Valley they have quite a few good restaurants.

Skiing both. Thanks for the suggestions.

It may go without saying, but visit the Olympic Training Facility. When we were there this summer, they had built a super tall tower for diving into the pool that is used primarily for skiers (who were practicing on plastic surfaces with running water on them). We also really enjoyed being at the top of the bobsled runs. They have expensive opportunities to ride in a bobsled and other downhill activities. Just being there and seeing some of these tracks from the very top was very fun (nearly wetting your pants fun). Buy your tickets early as it sold out most days while we were there.

Pro Tip. There is a state-run liquor store (one of the few) near the Olympic Training Facility. Buying alcohol at a store is not a simple thing in Utah.

Just walking the streets of Park City is fun. Do this on your first day to spot the places that appeal to you.

2nd on No Name Saloon and we would always have some beers and fill growlers at Wasatch Brewery.

It's kind if cool to drive over to check the Olympic Park area there with the bobsled and ski high jump courses. There is also a little Olympic museum there which is kind of cool.

When are you going? We went this last summer and had a great time, for it being out of season, although I do imagine things get really expensive and crowded around skiing season.

Like others have mentioned, the Olympic Training Facility is really cool. You can sign your life away to go on a bobsled down the track piloted by a bobsled pilot, and they absolutely fly.

High west distillery is pretty cool spot for drinks and food.

For sightseeing one day we bought lift tickets to go all the way up Deer Valley, which I would recommend, as the sights were incredible and the mountain is so big, it took a considerable amount of time to chair lift to the top and we could watch the mountain bikers make their descent back down.

As KcCyclone77 hinted at and I'm guessing you already know, bring your extra cash if you plan on buying anything at the stores/shops in Park City. Crazy expensive. Salt Lake City is a great city.
