Hey everyone... not normally the type to start advice threads but when trying to figure out where else to get my questions answered quickly... all i could think of was CF.
First off Im happy to say I finally stopped saying i was going to do it and actually started doing the P90X workout plan. I formed a diet that I wouldnt say is quite as strict as the one they recommend but I am keeping it to roughly 2000 cal/day.
I currently weigh about 210 on good day and Im 20 years old. Just really put on some weight after attending college and thinking that being Cy the Mascot would make me sweat enough to stay in shape. Im really social and love going out on the weekends and I jsut seem to be one of the guys who falls into the friend zone a ton so i figure I'd try and drop about 30 lbs this summer and hopefully come back in the Fall with some new found confidence and blah blah blah ...
anyway my questions.
1. any one go through the P90X program? what are your biggest tips?
2. What would be the best kind of "recovery drink" they offer one but i dont really wanna spend anymore cash (i am a college kid!!!) I heard chocolate milk is good but was wondering if anyone knew of any others?
