Ozark on Netflix

Just finished Season 2 Episode 7, and it's getting a little too far fetched - Episode with Mason and the foster kid. I'm going to keep going, as it sounds like the show get's better, but at this point I think with all of the crap that's happened, that this just isn't remotely believable anymore.
It’s TV

I find it odd when people complain about TV shows being unrealistic. The main complaint I heard about one of my favorite shows, Justified, was that it was far fetched.

This during a time when popular shows included a zombie show, dragon-themed soft core porn, and a show about a motorcycle gang that managed to skirt the law despite engaging in all out war in their small town.

Totally agree. They will go watch the movie transformers and then complain that there is no way someone could be teleported to Egypt that quickly. Yet they won't mention the giant machines they were watching turn into cars and fit into society.

No, no, no. Arrested Development? Dodgeball? Horrible Bosses? He's just a great all-around actor... talent really. Not just an actor.
I didn't like any of those. Arrested Development... I really don't like the cast at all. Michael Cera might be the worst actor ever. That brings me to Dodgeball... Vince Vaughn might be the worst actor ever. RIP Torn is a badass though. Horrible Bosses... That movie was ok. But Bateman has crushed it in Ozark, as an actor and a director. The entire cast is great and the writing is exquisite.

Loved Justified. Still go back and watch episodes of it. Such a well written show.

Ozark. Going to have to drink some of my Christmas whiskey before watching these episodes.

Also reality shows are some of the least realistic things out there. I mean other than maybe the very first season of MTV Real World in the early 90s I'm not sure any of them are realistic portrayal of anything in the normal world.

My best friend is in the music biz and none of those singing shows are realistic of that industry. Stuff like Big Brother is as scripted as WWE with the contestants at the whims of writers. Even a lot of these home buying/renovation shows strike me as pretty far fetched.

Sports are probably the only realistic "reality" show.

Opening the new season by showing Marty and his wife picking Helen's skull fragments from their hair is classic. I've tried to get my wife to watch this show with me, but I'm fully expecting her to leave the room during the opening scene.
