You can get an OWI while driving a car, motorcycle, boat, jet ski, tractor, lawn mower and I think even a bicycle. The question is whether or not you could get an OWI while riding one of those motorized coolers that you see around the stadium on game day. Anyone know?

It's got a motor, therefore you can get an OWI. Saw somebody get one in IC one time last year.
Just dont be a ******* and the cops should leave you alone. You never know though, all it takes is one jerk cop to question you.
Saw one at A Jimmy Buffett concert last week. The guy riding it said he can go about 2 hours per charge. Also said it set him back $500. I can buy a lot of fun for $500.
Yes, anything with a motor qualifies as a "motor vehicle" and is subject to the OWI rules.
A bicycle, however, does not qualify. You can be busted for public intoxication though. This came up twice during the RAGBRAI drivers meeting this year.

No OWI on a bicycle, but you can get a speeding ticket. My first ever speeding ticket was in Ames in 1996. While flying down Highland delivering a sub from JJ, I passed a cop. He gave me a ticket.
