OU would roll the hawkeyes

It seems like some discount SOS because they don't understand how it is computed other than "If you beat somebody it goes down and if you lose it goes up." It is almost comical that someone would believe the system is that simple. In that case UCF should have the #1 SOS.

Its almost comical that people don't understand that preseason rankings and W/L's don't matter in the SOS. Pretty funny, really.

Idaho went 4-8 in the Sun Belt this year, so I guess they are better than 3-9 Iowa State.

why would they be? I never said they were.

So let me just knock this down so we can move on - your opinion is that 4-8 Idaho is better than 3-9 Iowa State. Or vice versa? And along those lines, 10-2 Western Kentucky is just as good as 10-2 TCU, or no? Is this how you evaluate football teams?

im confused. When did I tell you that a team with a better record was automatically better than another? And when did I mention a non-power 5 team ever!

Lets ts knock that out first so we can get it out of the way.

You dancing around this simple question shows me that you know your position is indefensible. Either the schedule matters or it doesn't. Pick one. (Hint: It does.)

Your strawman is amazing. But I've never said the schedule doesn't matter, I've said that other factors are way more into play than people want to see and it's not something I'd ever use.

But go as far as you want with your team vs team, it makes me laugh.

It is interesting how many Hok fans were disappointed with this year's schedule (as evidenced by the lack of season ticket purchases). And the season ended up being even easier than they expected (as evidenced by Wisconsin and Nebraska each losing lots of games).

Yet, now, they just can't seem to admit that they had an easy season. Sure, they beat the teams in front of them, but that makes them consistently good, not great. Finally, this week, we can see whether they are good or great.

Too bad that their bubble will burst within the Big 10 before they ever get to the biggest stage where OU would mop the floor with them.

I'm no apologist but your post is laughable. Lack of season tickets stemmed from the squaks last season. I have not met one hawk fan that has argued that they had a really tough schedule. Not saying they're a great team but your strawman is weak buddy.
