OU would roll the hawkeyes

That it does. 1) With so many new trolls popping up here the past few weeks to tell us what an elite program Iowa has become, you know, after a four-year stretch where they were 26-25 even in a down period for the conference, 2) and yesterday when those trolls were here talking about how Iowa is a top 15-30 program all-time, I thought, if there is a fanbase dumb and arrogant enough to actually think they were a blueblood in football given the past five years, it might be Iowa's. So I figured I would ask just in case you were.
1) Link?

2) It's down to 15 now huh? Don't recall seeing that one. Tomorrow it will be down to 10. And as I recall, all lists that were found had them between 20-35. Not bad since the original poster stated "Iowa is a Top 20-35 football program all-time".

I like this whole "you guys are little people with terrible lives" bent our resident hawk fans have been on the last few weeks.
It's all of that pent up anger after 5 years of mediocrity. Now they're slightly above mediocre with a charmin soft schedule and they don't know what to do with themselves.

If the conversation was in any way just related to how good of an offense each team had, you two might have a point. The actual conversation was regarding Northwestern's overall team ranking. 78 tried to imply that based off NW's total offensive rank (which is poor) that the team isn't very good. I think my point was pretty clear regarding how inaccurate that is. The fact that they have a top 15 defensive ranking must not mean as much.

There are no implications whatsoever, just facts. Northwestern is not a good team.

Looks like they aren't too bad.

1. Why would there be a link to that? Just pay attention to the join date of some of your new cronies. A lot of November/October 2015 join dates. I doub they signed up to talk ISU basketball. In fact, I wonder why they waited until now and didnt join, oh, say, Sept 2014 or Dec 2014. Interesting.

2. Yep definitely saw 15. Not gonna go back and dig through it. I saw it.

Street cred...ruined.

This is how i picture your senior pictures (which will probably be this summer):
FFA jacket.
White Iowa state tshirt.
Flat bill.
Trumpet on the floor.
High school jersey and letter on floor.
Blue ribbons from Buchanan county fair for your chickens on floor next to trumpet.
In front of a "graffiti" painted that says Baller.

Minus the the hat and sign that is how I picture 90% of this board.

I am not far off am I.

1) Believed you on the trolls, figured you might try and show me where some said Iowa was "elite". Probably don't want to try and look back for that either.

2) Look in the Nebraska/Iowa thread. Starts on page 44. Should only take you a couple minutes to find that #15.

Didn't you notice your street cred was ruined. Anything you say is pointless.

Two teams are undefeated. That is all that matters.

Oklahoma found a way to get whipped up on by a terrible Texas team. Going undefeated is harder than finding excuses why they are undefeated. The Iowa fans who are upset about Iowa getting no respect are the same age/intellect as people who use the term "street cred" or write terrible articles about respect.

There isn't a person alive who had Iowa 12-0 after last year. I sure as hell didn't. I will take whatever comes and remember this fondly.

Watching this board repeat the same lines and radio talking points is fun to watch. Its a spot where many here know isu will never be and seeing Iowa there eats your soul.

Texas = Terrible
Nebraska = Good

Also you ignored my question about Iowa playing ISU's schedule

You might want to read a little further.

No reason Iowa wouldn't be undefeated. They are a top 5 team.

So you think Iowa would have gone through the toughest schedule in the country and not lost one game? Oklahoma is a top 5 team and couldn't do it and their schedule was easier than ISU's

Don't worry about what bolts thinks, he lost his street cred today.

I'm so sick of the strength of schedule argument. You know how we make our schedule easier? Beat the teams in front of us and they drop in polls.

We we struggle for other reasons, but quit complaining about who we play. We've been playing this schedule for a long time - with some easier years for sure - and it never has changed. So WE have to change.

What are you talking about? When was I complaining about ISU and their SOS?

Mine feature a candle lit room where the walls are plastered with pics of Hayden Fry & Kirk Ferentz with the all eyes cut out.

Ouch. I recommend waking up on the other side of the bed tomorrow.

As far as I can tell they have not lost, do you have scores from an alternative world that shows they lost?

Why would I assume they would not have? They beat the only big 12 team they played, the sample size is small but it is very clear.
