In all reality this whole who to root for really makes me sad. The conference is down, the top is not elite at all. Honestly it should probably be Baylor and OSU at the top.

The planets really have to align for Iowa State to have a playoff shot, and this year was it. Start out setup for success with respect, conference WAY DOWN (OU/Texas blows). Should have ran the conference table easily. Instead we probably won't even make the CCG.

I’m not for sure that’s how the tiebreakers always work.

First step, how did the teams do against each other:

ISU (2-1) loss to Baylor
Baylor (2-1) loss to Oklahom State

Oklahoma (1-2) losses to Iowa State and Baylor
Oklahoma State (1-2) losses to Oklahoma and Iowa State

So, Baylor woudl be the #1 seed and Iowa State the #2 seed since the Bears beat ISU.

OU losing helps Cincinnati tryign to get into the CFB Playoff, which is way good for the future Big Xii!

As for Iowa State, if they don't win the Big Xii and go to the Sugar, I am not partiuclar about in which of the other Big Xii Bowls that ISU lands.
