How do you suppose that doctor visit goes down?
"Doc, I need to ask you something?"
"What is it, Blaine?"
"Well, it's kind of personal... I need something."

You just tell the Doc that you have come down with a case of the "Hipsters". He says grow a beard, buy some silly clothes, and in 3-6 weeks your friends will have either shamed you back to normal or caught a case of the "Hipsters" themselves. It's running rampant on college campuses.

Here's one that always sounds strange to me. They were still executing people by guillotine, in France, when the first Star Wars movie was released.
I think "abstemious" is the longest word in which all the vowels are in sequential order.
