Should I recalibrate my expectations that I expectate the environment/atmosphere tomorrow should match/exceed the WVU game (2018?) from a few years ago?

To me this OSU game is equally as important as the WVU game; yet I am interested in the groups’ opinion.

Go Clones!

If we win, it will be very close.

Every game from here on out is going to be HUGE as long as we keep the train on the tracks and keep winning to stay in the hunt for the championship game. Military obligations will keep me from making it to this game, and I typically yell more than maybe the folks around me would prefer, so I hope you guys can make a little extra noise since I can’t be there, but I think our recent lack of success against OSU will have everyone juiced up for this game. I have a not so sneaky suspicion there will be an electric energy in Ames tomorrow. Let’s go win dammit!

It's been awhile since it's been electric at Jack trice. UNI on pins needles, Iowa sucked, Kansas well, whetevere. We need to be big time tomorrow!!
That’s why I think tomorrow that place will be a bent up, powder keg ready to explode. If the boys are playing well, it’s gonna be bananas. People have waited since Texas in ‘19 to make that place magical again. We’re gonna win. It’s gonna be amazing. Book it.

Maybe like TCU 2017.

I remember how fun it looked to be there.

I had a blast at that game. The crowd was all in on a defensive game. In a lot of ways, it felt like the crowd was willing the team on to victory. The party had already started in the tailgating lots by the time I made it out of the stadium. Friends and family letting the booze flow, laughing and slapping each other on the back, and blasting their music with no care for how well they were singing it.

We have some of the largest crowds in the B12, as well as other conferences. We buck the national trend of declining attendance. It’s time for our fans/crowd to start to flex! Looking forward to seeing everyone up and loud on defense downs 1-4! Let’s pack the Jack and roll Clones!

All depends on how the team shows up - we played great against WVU that night, especially the defense, and the crowd responded.
Man that night against WVU, it was just a blitz by the defense from the jump. The Jack was an electric atmosphere. Will Grier was mentally shell shocked by John Heacock and our D.

I remember the Mike Rose sack early, and we were just all over them. I hope we can get a similar start defensively. Use Breece, control the clock with an early lead, and I will feel very good about this.

A big turnover for the D could be the swing moment in the second half.

Special teams - just please please be average, we don't need them to be great to win. Although that would be a plus.
