Osemele recognized on ESPN

Again, it's not to take away from KO or to even say he didn't do a good job against AC.. but the terminology that is used sometimes.. this domination stuff.. good lord.

Okay, how about KO will "kick [AC's] butt." Thats how AC himself put it last year. Frankly, since this game isn't even a blip on Iowa's radar screen, I suspect the "no. 1 D-line in the nation" will yet again "not take ISU seriously" and yet again get manhandled...opps I mean butt kicked.

Regardless of what you may think or some Iowa fans (or players since the AC 1 team/state quote is brought up) may say, ISU is not overlooked anymore. The wins in the earlier part of the 00's made it so that ISU cannot be overlooked. Is it looked at more than any other game? In some respects.. in some it's more due to being in-state, some it's less due to nonconference.. tomato, tomahto.

Why don't you continue to edit his quote Peter? He said sometimes.. he SOMETIMES got his butt kicked.. as in, this play he did, this play he didn't.. did he get dominated in some plays? Sure. For the duration of the game? No.

Let me know when you are going to cross the street so I can find someone to hold your hand

The battle I remember ended up 35-3.

I am not saying that KO is not an outstanding player. He deserves his accolades. But to say he "dominates" AC?

Only one game to really go off of and that was last year. Re-watch it and if you still have fingers left when counting the number of times KO puts Clayborn flat on his back, then you are vindicated in saying he was not dominated. :jimlad:

I take it you are in grad-school because you are really wrestling with the nuances of AC's statement. I like that. I'm sure AC even had it broken down into percentages.

"On 34% of the plays it was a draw, however, 43% of the time I had my *** handed to me, and on only 23% of the plays did I make a significant contribution to our defensive effort. Judging from these statistics Norm Parker and myself have deduced that I was not completely owned since 63% of the plays were either positive or neutral outcomes while 43% of the plays were pancake blocks. This observation allows us to conclude that while often my butt was kicked it was not kicked as thoroughly as might first be implied."

I hope KO can up the pancake block percentage to at least %50 this year.

Anyone else see that Kelechi Osemele made the first team all Big 12 on espn, according to the Blue Ribbon All Conference Predictions? No other clones on the list, but I thought Osemele was not getting enough recognition coming into this season.[/

The coaches and rush ends in the conference know who the heck he is.
