It will be within a few possessions, but Oregon St will cover the spread. I'll be a little sad if we get blown out, but also not completely surprised.

Nothing wrong with that. Our basketball fans deserve some optimism.
But I suspect it has more to do with the betting line being close than anything else.
I think (at least this is my feeling) that a lot of people are just happy to see a team that works hard consistently. Most fans know we aren't going to amount to much this year, but are expecting to see strides made because of the players, their effort and buy in, and the coaching staff that continues to preach and demand those things out of the team.
If all of those things continue to be a constant throughout the year, and our team shows flashes (ie. the progression of Campbell's first year) I'll most likely be counting that as a "win" in Year 1.
I've only used Draftkings for a few months now and don't really know what I'm doing. I rarely bet and have never bet on basketball. With that said,I thought it was interesting that they have a special on ISU. There is no way I'm doing it because I would never bet $50 on a game but...

I think it's a close one where we have a chance. Not convinced past that, but I think it's an honest chance, and that's good.

I would be shocked if ISU wins. They will try, and they will fight for the win, but there are just too many new guys on this team, and not enough scorers, as far as I can see. Hopefully I am completely wrong, but I have set the bar pretty low for this year's team.
There usually is with a new coach. Plus, we have a "true" point guard that looks like the real deal. Add a couple of good experienced transfers and yeah......let if flow.
Oregon St pulls away and wins by 6. The more experience playing together is the deciding factor. If this gsme is played 6 weeks from now we win but I'm not feeling it tonight.
