Tuff as rain, my good sir. Roger Sprague still occasionally posts on the Husker boards, loving the rabbit with a pancake on its head emoji.

Quite fortuitously, DarkStar was once one of my personal favorite Campustown locales.Tough as rain and air planes on treadmills were two of my personal favorites...
Stanz-sorry about the late reply.Does the ISR opt-out not work? If it doesn't, that is news to me and I'll get someone working on it.
Yeah, I’m never quite sure if it takes a certain amount of time or if you have to close your browser. But it definitely isn’t immediateIt can take 30 minutes or so for it to go away.
I refuse to get involved in that cesspool, but I hardly doubt alot of it is opinion. If it's anything like other political sites it's probably blatant misinformation designed to harm people.I am triggered by people having differing opinions. I need a safe space to avoid such calamities. Thank you!
Not true. Just like most places on the internet. Its a starting point and not the final arbiter of truth. The value one gets from the cave is equal to the work they're willing to do to educate themself.I refuse to get involved in that cesspool, but I hardly doubt alot of it is opinion. I've found lots of valuable information and interesting opinions in the cave. I just don't take everything posted at face value and try very hard to not take disagreements personally, albeit not always successfully.
I understand. The cave isn't for everyone. Can become difficult when a couple posters make every post they disagree with a personal attack and insult, and do some name calling also. Why I got fed up with it and haven’t been back in 6 years or so.
You can put certain posters on ignore if you don’t want to read their posts but yeah, if you’re thin skinned and easily offended you should probably stay out of the cave. Maybe the in-state rivals section would be better for you.
Turning off that echo chamber makes the user experience much better. Thank you!
Exactly like I figured, 5 or 6 people spreading disinformation they read from some troll farm in Russia and are too ignorant to question its validity.politics board has some pretty good conversations....
its people on the left, middle of the road, and the same 5 or 6 posters who are on their 4th account.... just waiting to say something completely racist, homophobic, anti-semitic. get banned and do it all over again.
Its not being thin skinned its avoiding stupid from either side of the aisle.
you can tell who is angry from getting owned at their holiday Christmas party yesterday
You and your buddies are a little extra feisty this morning. might want to use some preparation H.
