On to 2021

Latest roster has Colbray and Broderson at 174 and Coleman and Shapiro at 197. Anyone have any insight in the plan for 174/184/197?

No specific knowledge, but to me that would that Coleman wasn't going to win the 184 spot.

I would guess the plan then would be Colbray/Borderson at 174/184 and order likely based on who can hold 174 better. Then let Shapiro/Coleman duke it out for 197.

I would say it's better wrestler chooses what weight they want to go and loser fills in the other weight (if they both want 174), rather than who can hold the weight better.

WIN doesn’t rank freshman with no history, so Echemendia & Kharchala of Ohio State wouldn’t be ranked. I think that is how they do it

Penn State at 9? I’ll eat my shoe if they finish that low. What’s the worst they’ve finished with Cael? 6th?

Yeah. It's definitely cool to see, but as the season goes on I'm sure we'll drop a bit. It will be a great season, but not beating out PSU and tOSU great.

...I'm happy for Echemendia, completely understand his situation and why he did what he did, but I can't help but be super bummed he didn't stick with us. Regardless, the dude's a beast and I wish him the best.

We'll just have to enjoy watching Parker and Gomez beat him at nationals the next few years :)

How much did NC state lose? Seemed like they were having a really good year last year
