One of the longest and most successful movie franchises has been James Bond 007 series. Most have been recently available on Prime and I've been getting caught up and filling in the gaps.

This week's OTN is asking for your favorite 007 movie feature/theme song. And if it coincides with your favorite film let us know. Otherwise you may add which ever one is.

Lastly, another optional item; List your prefered Bond actors 1 through 5.

We are allowing multiple of the same, so go ahead and post even if your favorite(s) have already been posted.

Your OTN team are @cyclones500, @CycloneRulzzz and me.

Last week's topic was Now and Then: https://cyclonefanatic.com/forum/threads/on-that-note-now-and-then.281979/

This one made me laugh on rewatch. The Lincoln, that weighs over 5,000 lbs is crushed and dropped into the bed of a Ranchero. An early 60s Ranchero - based on the Falcon chassis. That vehicle would have bottomed out with that much weight... not to mention the chubby dude driving it,

Favorite Bond theme: Lulu's "The Man With the Golden Gun". I don't have a specific reason why, but I just always loved the vibe of it. Very 70s and her voice just works for it. Was the film itself great? Hardly. But I still enjoy it anyway. Honorable theme song mentions: "A View to a Kill", "Nobody Does It Better", and "All Time High".

As you might guess, my favorite Bond is Roger Moore. He was Bond when I was growing up, so he's what I got used to first. In order: Roger Moore, Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, Daniel Craig, George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton.

Favorite Bond movie: Moonraker. I wish I had seen it in the theaters (first theater Bond experience was Octopussy). I love sci fi movies and I loved Lois Chiles. Yes, I 100% acknowledge that she and Moore had LESS THAN ZERO chemistry together. But there was something so fun, campy, and intriguing about this movie to me. It's generally not well-regarded overall, but it's still my favorite anyway.

Trivia: Duran Duran's theme for A View to a Kill was the ONLY Bond theme to hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Live and Let Die and Nobody Does It Better both reached #2. That was not the case with other music trade publications, however. Live and Let Die made it to #1 in Cashbox and Record World.

Favorite Bond. Moore, Connery, Brosnan. Take or leave the rest. Craig bugs me for some reason. Too stiff and the humor of a Bond gone or simply not believable with him

Movie. For Your Eyes Only (when we first got cable it was on all the time and my sister and I watched it so many times. We would both recite lines )
Song.. View to a Kill

I'm kind of surprised this week's On That Note died such a quick death. Didn't even make it to page 2! I guess there aren't that many people who love the Bond movie themes? :(

Live and Let Die - McCartney
Goldeneye
